Foreign language

So, I have wanted to learn french for a few years now. The issue is that my memory sucks, royally. I did O.K. in high school, but didn't like the method (or the teacher). I love the french language, so beautiful and fluid. I like German for the strength in every word and Japanese for its university. French to start, however.

I looked up Rosetta Stone because its a full immersion program, the only one that will work for me.

$400.

what?

WHAT?!

That costs as much as my TABLET computer! Dear god, what am I going to do? Well, save up I assume. Used isn't an option this time, since Rosetta has a strong copyright system. I have more important things to worry about than language software. Like, updating Photoshop and school. All in due time.
